PHASE 1

Phase 1 is about the diverging ideation that led from the co-design methods. The ideation is focused on the difficulties that were discussed. These include the induction plate only having a touchpad, reading documents, and recognizing clothes/foodproduct.

Ideation phase 1

In the first phase there were no restrictions which can be seen in the ideation above. The sketches contained different ideas, different functions and designs. For example ideas to improve Tupperware and storage in the fridge , different scanners for clothing, food and other items.

Most ideas nevertheless were focused on the kitchen which is the environment that was chosen. A lot of inspiration came also from an existing fridge cam that can scan all products in the fridge and send them to an app to choose. This product however was not made for people with a visually impairment.
